I had a great experience at Independence Villa in Sihanoukville. The owner was incredibly friendly and helped us with everything from local tours to arranging transportation. The rooms were comfortable and nicely equipped, although a bit basic. The location felt safe, but it’s a little remote from the main attractions, which can be a slight inconvenience.
